We welcome you to our cottage and will help you in any way we can to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. We have information to
help arrange activities or make dining reservations. Please let us know right away if you need assistance or information. When
problems arise, we will work with you to resolve them.
- A two night minimum is required, and on holidays and peak weekends, a three night minimum is required.
- Weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday.
- Check-in is after 3 p.m. daily. Check-out by 11 a.m. daily.
- Visa and MasterCard, cashier's checks, money orders, and personal checks are accepted.
- Guests must be 24 years of age.
- One night's rent is due upon booking. The balance is due on arrival.
- All reservations are subject to 7% NC sales tax, 3% local occupancy tax.
- A single rental cottage like ours is dearly affected by cancellations and we ask for your understanding and
consideration. We will cancel your reservation without penalty if we are notified 14 or more days in advance.
If you should cancel within 14 days, we can refund your deposit only if we are able to rent to another guest,
and we will make every effort to do so. Earlier than scheduled departures are handled as a cancellation and
the same policy applies.
- We reserve the right to make a substitute accommodation for you if circumstances demand.
- Our cottage is fully equipped for normal housekeeping. Towels and linens are provided. We ask that before
leaving, you strip the beds and put one set of sheets in the washer to allow time to prepare for the next
guests. Leave other linens in the washer-dryer area.
- Our guests are asked to leave the home in the same condition on departure as it was found on arrival.
- Our cottage is a non-smoking facility and we do adhere strictly to our policy. If you must smoke, our large
garden and porches are available.
- For an additional fee of $20.00, we welcome your well-behaved small pet. (Under 40 lbs.)
- All equipment in your cottage should be in working order. Please report any problems to us. Every effort
will be made to correct the problem.
